Several companies in Taiwan has been eyeing the health benefits of deep-ocean water, plan to sell deep-sea water as drinking water.

These companies plan to sell the deep-sea water retrieved from the Pacific Ocean as drinking water, and use it for aquaculture, the pharmaceutical industry and spas!

The bottled deep-sea water will enter the market as soon as November 06 and is believed to become popular drink because it is bacteria free and rich in minerals and nutrition.

Deep-sea water refers to water 200m under the sea surface. Taiwan commands a unique geographical location for utilising deep-sea water because just 50km off Taiwan’s east coast the seabed drops to a depth of 4km!

It is reported that 3 companies have laid pipes to retrieve deep-sea water to sell it as bottled water after desalination.

Hmmm. Never thought of drinking water from the seabed!

‘Blow Your Anger’ Pub!

I bumped into this story in a local daily a couple of days ago.

An entreprenuer opened a pub in Nanjing, not far from Beijing, China last April 2006. Well, this is not the usual and normal pub we can find around.

Besides serving drinks, patrons at Rising Sun Anger Release Bar are allowed to release their tense and anger by breaking glasses, yelling, screaming and… treating the waiters as punching bags… for a certain fees, of course!!

The bar staffs which consist of 20 young and tough men are physically well trained to take hits and equipped with safety and padded gears. In addition to this, the customers will have the opportunities to ask these waiters to wear the costumes to their choices. E.g: If the customer is somehow mad or ‘pissed-off’ with his/her boss, the waiters shall dress like a boss! Then, the waiter in the boss costume is all his/hers!

The bar charges ranges from 50 to 300 yuan (approximately $5.50 to $35) depending to the customer’s requests!

The most interesting fact since its opening in April this year is that most of its customers are females who work in the services and entertainment industry such as the karaoke and massage parlours!

In interviews conducted by the China Daily, there have been critiques that the idea to hit someone who dresses as their boss might be interesting to some quarters, but it is concluded that violence will not solve any problems!

What a wonderful world, isn’t it?

New History On the Net

Many already knew about Alex Tew of England and his tremendous success on his www.milliondollarhomepage.com.

He made $1 million in just 4 months by just selling pixels as advertising spaces!

There has been many attempts to copycat Alex’s success formula but it seems like they failed. I may say that the trend is people usually reacts or responses to the original creator, not the copycats. There’s nothing wrong to be a copycat, though… but it is much wiser if they could improvise the present idea to better ones. In another words… innovate and make it better; and these new ideas will become yours exclusively!

However, a few days ago I bumped into another similar but different than Alex’s website. Check this website out www.50pageswebsite.com presented by a Malaysian with a nickname ‘Alang’.

Well, I must say it’s quite an effort to come out with this kind of internet business ideas. I read an interview stating that he was ‘fired-up’ and ’stimulated’ by Alex’s successes and he completed this website within days after he visionised this business ideas!

Let’s see if Alang could rock the internet community by creating another history with his new project, as he hopes to be.

Way to go, Alang!
